What to Expect

Your top questions, answered with love. From what to bring, to where to start, to how our community connects — here’s everything you need to know before stepping into Alma.

I've never tried reformer or mat classes, can I still join?

Absolutely. Mat classes are beginner-friendly and open to all levels. If you’re new to the reformer, we offer a Reformer Foundations class to get comfortable with the equipment and form.

What do I need for class?

For mat classes, you can be barefoot or wear grippy socks. For reformer classes, grippy socks are required for safety and support. Don’t worry if you forget — we have grippy socks available for purchase in the studio. Just wear comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle; we’ll provide the rest, from reformers and mats to props and playlists.

  • Mat + Reformer Memberships: Includes all mat classes plus reformer pilates classes, available in 4, 8, 12, or unlimited classes per month.

Do you offer community events + clubs?
